Good morning from the most wonderful doggy. This is Dante.

Someone asked me about who "Dante" is that I talk about and I noticed, I don't post about him nearly enough.

He's the best companion in life and the studio. He keeps my feet warm under the desk. And he tests the quality of each painting by sniffing. (No panic, it's watercolors and safe.)

He's paid with unlimited treats and cuddles.

Wait!

Hmmm.... Arwen was very impatient to go to the Herperduin today. And I let her "bully" me into hurrying and now... I forgot my cap! And while it's not bright and sunny yet I my need it... Ugh... Stupid brain forgetting cap. I always wear caps, even during the night...
There's so much light around my normal glasses now, definitely not used to that...

Sharing a snap of Arwen on the couch, "telling" me again and again that she wanted to go for walkies....

A few minutes later she got more persistent, and got off the couch and started marching to the door, again and again, while pressing her nose against me...

OK Arwen, no worries, I don't need "my spot" on the couch that much... I'll just sit on "your spot", and try to eat some, while you snore away...

Wet noodle horse just dropped..

Happy ! Here's Hatch napping under my chair with his rump in the sewing cabinet because if lap is not available one must make do.

Ello frens and fans of Arwen :paw:

We're back for another SniffBook walkies adventure. It's 5C, with a real feel of 2, and it's dry but humid. I've charged the headlight, so I should have enough power to shine a light whenever needed.
Brought my gloves as well, as I'm sure my hands will like some warmth after some typing.

Arwen seems to be doing rather well. I had to rinse her ears again, which she never likes. But we wanna keep her ears in good condition, so that she won't need any more antibiotics and all that...

Every day, when I see a happy gall, I am reminded of your generous help! Every time she wags her tail, every time she tries to run to the water side or to her favorite puddle, every time she is acting silly and cute... I know this has been made possible thanks to the awesome help of friends and strangers. You all came together to help us when we needed it most! :bearlove:

Thank you for that!! I'll include an older snap of Arwen, dunno if I've shared it before. But I have no new ones yet and it's not been "selfie time" yet during this walk. :ablobcatangel:

:flyinghearts: Fankoos sooooo much for making my gall happy and comfortable again! :dancecooldoge:

Come to bed, there's still plenty of room.

Tomorrow is my last full day of work in , with a half day after that (and then off to the airport).

This has been an amazing trip so far. I got to experience many aspects of a culture I really didn't know much about (including celebrations and the amazing Golconda fort) and my coworkers here are absolutely fantastic people (although I probably owe them some time back after getting sidetracked so many times). I'd love to come back again, if work decides it's warranted.

That said, I'm so tired. Long work hours, lots of exploration, and a messy sleep schedule have left me worn out. Really looking forward to a good night's sleep tonight, but I think it's going to take several days to fully catch up!

I've been bad at uploading pictures, but expect a deluge in a couple days. For now, here's another lovely street who I really wanted to pet!

It's darker by one hour since Sunday, plus we can feel a very subtle mist with much cooler air. I try to be calm and wish we could skip this Tuesday...
