The remains of her old bed
The remains of her old bed when she was quite a bit smaller, are still a favoured sleeping spot.
She removed pretty much all the stuffing from it a while ago, but she apparently considers that an improvement. :)
I still struggle with the dog-human communication, so if anyone has some better recommendations than what modern search engines throw at me, I'd appreciate links, titles, etc.
Especially the topic of understanding body language and communication.

Dougal the Lurcher on the left, Juno the Whippet on the right. Well be sharing their adventures in Wales with vistas measureless to dog, stunning sunsets over the Valley and misty morning walks. Sometimes, they leave their yard and travel further afield for adventure.The garden is wild this morning.
Emma has started the habit of eating plant leaves when she is stressed (ie: when her daddy is out of town). I am moving all my plants out of her reach before our vacation. I even sacrificed my large fiddleleaf fig due to its toxicity (took some cuttings first, however).
We just cannot have a sick baby girl at home while we are on vacation.
We have several suitcases out, so she may already know what we are planning.
