We're back with another SniffBook walkies! It was said to be dry, so of course it's slightly drizzling now. I guess that wasn't picked up by the weather witches ... But it's not too bad (yet ) so let's hope for the best. My jacket is a bit water resistant, as are my shoes. My jacket has a hood, so in case of it getting worse, I can protect my headphones.
It's 5C and slightly drizzling/rather humid. The real feel is 4 degrees, according to the app. We're on our way for the long walk again, as I didn't walk the treadmill today. I did ride the seated bike for 50 minutes, which made my right leg very tingly...
I'm charging my headset and controller, so that I can be comfortable when I'll game with my friend(s). I've not used the white controller for a while, so I guess it will need a new upgrade before I can use it. But I guess it's better for the battery if I actually use it every now and then. But my preferred controller is my purple one, which probably won't surprise anyone.
Anywhoooo.... Arwen has been doing good! She's been enjoying walkies. She's been running to her favorite puddle more! And not just short bits! It amazes me how fast she can be again. And there also lies some guilt... She must have been struggling for so long already... Why didn't she let me know I could have helped her sooner/better! Of course I had been giving her the Cosequin and that helped some. But this injection makes such a difference... I just wish I could have helped her sooner...
I've cleaned her ears this morning and there wasn't much icky bits, so I guess it's going well. I do hope so, at least...
Arwen has been enjoying many snacks from the neighbor! I'm trying to adjust her meals some, as she really needs to lose some weight (like me). But with the extra snacks from the neighbor, it means she has to get less of her normal food. But I'm trying to give her more walkies, when my health and weather allow, so hopefully that will help some as well. For her, and for me...
Today we should be getting her new harness. I really hope it will fit! She was at the end of the available range, with a wee bit to spare... But they didn't offer the XL anymore, I guess most people chose a different harness for the bigger dogs now. But Arwen has one of those and it hurts her armpits. So that's not an option, unfortunately .
I did replace the batteries of her little purple light a few days ago. So the next few weeks, she should be properly visible again. I wonder if I should see if I can find a bigger yellow safety harness for her, as she's grown out of the one she has... I'm always with her wearing mine. And she has got her blinking light. But I always wonder if she'll be visible enough...
If all goes well, my sweet friend should receive the parcel that I send last week! They will have to pick it up when it does zso hopefully they'll have it soon! They've gotten some bad luck lately, so I hope that my little box will make a wee bit of a happy moment for them...
Let's see how this SniffBook walkies will go. I do need to write a bit for my blog again.

my favorite pokemon is the one that looks like a dog.
I'm sitting a cafe in St Kilda and a spotty dog at one of the nearby outside tables has had thoughts about other dogs daring to walk past. The other dogs have also expressed their opinions.
Everything quieting down now, the spotty dog is lying on the footpath next to the table like a very flat thing.

Every day, around 13:45, some days earlier, Arwen needs to inspect the windows. Around 14, we usually walk with a neighbor and her dog. The neighbor has snacks... And obviously, I never feed Arwen... She's not overweight because I've spoiled her too much! That can't be it...So I need to open the curtains some every afternoon (they're often closed due to light sensitivity and watching telly) so that Arwen can check if the neighbor is coming, while frantically wagging her tail.
