Tuesday bed fight!
Poppy was under a general anesthesia today for a dental scale and polish, and she did really well.
She's still having a little difficulty regulating her temperature, which is totally normal (normal for people too!), and is a bit more subdued than usual, but that's more to do with how everything was very different today... she's a dog-of-habit.
" brains segment speech into words in a way previously seen only in humans, a new study from Hungary finds. This suggests that efficient speech processing is not necessarily a consequence of humans' unique language abilities"

Its so easy to get frustrated when a small dog barks at every single leaf that blows past the window. But honestly, they just think theyre protecting the house. You cant punish that instinct out of them. It just takes patience, gentle redirection, and making sure the gear you use actually fits their tiny size.
