Happy New Year! I am grateful to the Mastodon community and wishing everyone a good year.
Happy New Year 2025 in real time where we live. We went to our favorite spot for the first sunrise of the year. The sky was fine until the sun was about to rise above the woods, then clouds moved in and we were unable to catch the sun itself.
Oh well, at least it was a serene morning for the first walk with Kengo, which matters the most.
The good news is I'm back on Wi-Fi at home after hours of attempts.

We have (hopefully) reached the point where panko doesnt fight me when doing eye drops. Its been a few months now but have found in the last few weeks it has finally become easier. I have treated him and praised every time after to try associate it with being a good thing lol.
Were still in talks with the vets and specialists in regards to his eye. He has still been getting irritation so they let me put him back in meloxicam to help out a bit. The pigmentation from the ulcers healing seems to still be spreading so he will need another consult to see if there is any other medication they can dispense to help.

I remember that the Netflix show "The crown" had a lot of hunting scenes that my did not notice. But I have not tried this, to mask the sounds of New Year's Eve.
