This was my gal on day 5 of TPLO (**tibial plateau leveling osteotomy) **post-op. I was an unequivocal emotional wreck & she was high as a kite.
Trying to get all her scheduled pain meds (too many to mention) into a non-cooperative, traumatized clenched mouth (with a sprained thumb) was like trying to dispense meds with a Sissy Hankshaw thumb.
Shes come a long way baby!
My husky puppy will go to the back door to use the bathroom, but he'll just stare at me. If I notice him, I'll say "oh, you need to go potty" and he'll yelp and bounce and wait for me. But if I don't notice, he'll just pee on the floor.
We need to work on communication.
